NHS Nurse uniforms within the hospital?

I have been doing a work placement in an NHS hospital and i was just wondering what all the different colour uniforms indicate. If anyone knows what the colours mean or anyone have a website to lead me to it would be most appreciated.
I have found that dark blue with white spots is a matron, Navy Blue is a sister or ward manager, lighter blue is a staff nurse and a pale blue is a clinical support nurse but that’s all i know. i have seen nurses wearing grey scrubs and pink scrubs and im really wondering what they all mean

This is a really huge problem within the NHS, as not only every hospital is completely different, not only can patients not recognise who is who, but now bloody cleaners/hairdressers/health and beauty students/any tom dick and harry are getting very similar uniforms too!!!!!! It is ridiculous.

Basically the higher grade charge nurses/matrons etc wear some form of dark blue uniform, wether striped or plain, or a coloured eppaulette on a white tunic.

Staff nurses wear Light Blue uniforms, again some plain, some striped, etc.

Student nurses wear white/grey uniforms (but there are other variations).

Auxilliaries have a wide range of colours, from pink, to purple, to white, you name it.

Cadets often wear green. (But again this can change with the trust). Hope this helps?
